Northern Services Group operates a meals-on-wheels program that provides qualified home bound elderly of Rockland County with nutritious and freshly-prepared glatt kosher meals. This program is funded in part by New York State and Rockland County Offices for Aging, The New York State Department of Health, and grants from The Jewish Federation of Rockland County and Mazon: A Jewish Response to Hunger.

This program is intended to provide temporary relief to the client's caregiver. Individuals who are living at home and qualify for nursing facility care may schedule short-term care stays under this program. Northern Riverview Health Care Center is the only nursing home in Rockland County licensed by the New York State Department of Health to offer approved respite beds, accepting Medicaid as payment.

This specialized program, offered at Northern Manor Geriatric Center, provides services to obese individuals (over 350 pounds). These residents are provided with adapted beds, wheelchairs, lifters, walkers, bathing equipment and other customized devices that maximize comfort and appropriate care. Special dietary support, rehabilitation and psychological interventions are provided, and staff is specially trained. All departments are involved in the care of these residents. Northern Services Group offers a variety of options for people with Alzheimer's disease and related memory disorders. Programs and facilities are designed to enhance their quality of life and provide support services for families. Residential and day programs feature adaptive environments that are vital for the resident's safety and comfort. Northern Metropolitan offers a discreet, secure, special care unit to accommodate residents with Alzheimer's disease and memory related disorders. The staff on this unit undergo ongoing specialized training in dementia care. Recreational activities are adapted and designed to meet the physical, cognitive, and creative needs of the population. Northern Metropolitan has also been the recipient of two dementia grants from the New York State Department of Health. Club Met is a specialized day program held in a secure area for those suffering from Alzheimer's and related dementia. Located at Northern Metropolitan in Monsey, New York, the fully structured program accommodates participants in a warm, homelike setting that includes a kitchen, dining area and recreation center. Activities are individualized and adapted to meet the specific needs of each participant. Club Met is available to residents of Northern Metropolitan and to registrants of the adult day care program. Through Cub Met, the Northern Metropolitan Adult Day Health Care program serves people with Alzheimer's disease who live at home. In Brooklyn, the Northern Adult Day Care Center provides attention to those with early stage Alzheimer's and related disorders. Medical and rehabilitative services are offered to physically and cognitively challenged adults. An individual who requires post-hospital care, including rehabilitation therapies, with the goal being a return to his/her home, can benefit from the sub-acute care program. Northern Riverview Health Care Center's sub-acute care program provides a special unit, with rehabilitative, nursing, and medical services that enable residents to recover and rehabilitate during a short-term stay, in a comfortable, homelike setting. Dedicated professionals provide 24-hour care and support to prepare residents for their return home. Services include occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy to assist individuals in becoming independent in activities of daily living, such as dressing and grooming, as well as increasing strength, muscle tone, walking endurance and speaking.
