Morris Klein, Executive Director
Morris Klein has served in the position of
Executive Director at Northern since 1981, when Northern Metropolitan was the
organization's first and only facility. As Executive Director, Mr. Klein was
instrumental in Northern's expansion when the organization acquired Northern
Manor in 1991 followed by Northern
Riverview in 1992. Mr.

its newly constructed projects: Northern Manor Adult Day Health Care Center
(1997), FountainView at College Road, a premier retirement community (1998), Assisted
Living at Northern
Riverview (1999) and, in
2000, the opening of Northern Services Group's headquarters, centralizing the
corporate and financial functions.
Through Northern's history, Mr. Klein has
been the visionary responsible for guiding the major development and
substantial growth of all of Northern's residences and programs. He became
involved with the not-for-profit sector in 1979 and has served this segment
of the industry ever since. He holds a nursing home administrator's license.

from South
Africa to the United States. He later began an accounting career with a firm
specializing in the not-for-profit and health care area and focused the
majority of his time with not-for-profit health care providers in the New York metro area. Sonny Kaplan's involvement with the
senior community expanded when he became CFO of a multi program health care
provider and was a part of the planning, financing, and operating of several
programs similar to those at Northern. It was this path that led him to
Northern Services Group in January of 2000 to become Chief Financial Officer.
