Introducing “Northern Hospitality”! For almost a year, Northern Services Group has been working on a program designed to enhance the experience of every resident, family member, visitor and employee. The goal of this program is that anyone who enters one of our doors is treated as a guest in a 5-star hotel. 

Key staff members attended a seminar at the Ritz Carlton in New York City in an effort to learn the principals of “hospitality” from their legendary service professionals. The strategy is being rolled out to all of Northern’s 1,100 employees through on-going kick-off events and training.

There is a major shift beginning in the healthcare industry from traditional “Customer Service” to “Guest Hospitality” and Northern is proud to be at the forefront! As always, we look forward to providing the best possible care and invite you to experience Northern Hospitality!

From a single building (Northern Metropolitan in Monsey),  in 1981, Northern Services Group has grown to include 3 skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, a premier retirement community, home care and a host of community outreach programs throughout Rockland County.  On this, our 25th anniversary, we pledge to continue to enhance our services, provide quality care, hospitality and a distinctive collection of retirement and healthcare services.

SNAP celebrates 20 Years of Serving Rockland’s Homebound Seniors!

As Northern Services Group celebrates 25 years of caring, SNAP (the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) is celebrating its 20th anniversary delivering hot, glatt-kosher meals to 75 homebound seniors in Rockland County Since it was founded in 1985, SNAP, a project of Lifestyle Options for Seniors Foundation, Inc., Northern Services Group’s fundraising arm has supplied over 470,000 meals to those in need. Just another way for Rocklanders to experience Northern Hospitality!

SNAP is partially funded by the New York and Rockland County Offices for the Aging, the New York State Department of Health, the Jewish Federation of Rockland County and Mazon: A Jewish Response to Hunger.
