Northern Manor Multicare Center features a state-of-the-art 28 bed Ventilator Dependent Unit, the newest in Rockland County, staffed by a dedicated interdisciplinary team of nurses, therapists and aides under the supervision of a Pulmonologist.
Designed for residents who require long-term mechanical ventilator support but no longer require acute hospital care, the unit focuses on aggressive weaning when appropriate, as well as long-term support for those unable to be weaned.
Best of all, these residents can now have the care they need close to home and their loved ones.
